Another Wild Wood renovation completed

Rear view of Cottage renovation.

From top to bottom this property has been given the Wild Wood touch. Introducing modern day technology with traditional approaches has given this property the upgrade it needed for modern day living whilst holding on to the individual character features left behind throughout the years. A substantial extention was added to the rear of the property to make way for the new kitchen/dining room that stretches the full lenght of the property with volted ceilngs in the dining room which reach up in to the mono pitched roof. Above the kitchen bedroom 3 was added making this property ideal for families, along with the three bedrooms up stairs there is a large family bathroom with sunken bath and double shower cubical. The whole room was finished with Travertine natural stone tiling.

Of course this would not be a Wild Wood Installation without introducing some good quality timber to the property. Bespoke hardwood double glazed windows and external doors were installed and were all finished with Farrow & Ball castle grey on the outside and brilliant white on the inside, all pre-painted and supplied from our own joinery workshop. The internal doors were bespoke ledged oak doors which were left natural to show off the oak and to contrast against the painted and textured walls. A Wild Wood installation would not be complete without installing oak flooring through the entrance hall into the lounge leading up to the slate clad inglenook fireplace.

It is a huge advantage that we have the resources of our joinery workshop and the knowledge of many timbers and products which we can apply to such projects to produce outstanding results.
